Air Canada RTPCR test requirement from Delhi to Canada! Air Canada RTPCR test requirement from Delhi to Canada

Air Canada requires either of these specific tests like no other test from any other clinic within India will be accepted, even if you are connecting from a different city.

The cut-off time to complete the COVID-19 test is 10 hours for an RT-PCR test or 6 hours for a rapid PCR test before the scheduled departure time. Results of the RTPC will be sent on the email that you have provided while booking

For an upcoming flight with Air Canada, you mustbook the RT-PCR or Rapid PCR test prior to travel. In order to receive their results in time, we recommend booking an appointment no later than 6 hours before their departing flight. The test result will be sent to you on the email registered by you at the time of booking the appointment.

If travelling in Signature Class please look for the dedicated section at the testing facility. International travellers must also be fully vaccinated with one of the approved vaccines authorized by the Government of Canada. They include Pfizer-BioNTech Comirnaty, Moderna SpikeVax, AstraZeneca Vaxzevria or Covishield, Johnson & Johnson Janssen, Covaxin.

BEFORE ARRIVING AT THE AIRPORT PASSENGERS MUST HAVE ARRIVECAN UPLOADED ON THEIR PHONES WITH THEIR PASSPORT AND VISA DETAILS AND DETAILS AND SCANNED COPIES OF VACCINATION CERTIFICATES

PLEASE ENSURE THIS IS DONE WELL IN ADVANCE AS IT COULD LEAD TO DELAYS IN CHECK-IN AND BOARDING PROCEDURES.

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU DO NOT NECESSARILY NEED TO WAIT FOR YOUR RT-PCR RESULT DONE AT THE AIRPORT TO UPLOAD OTHER DETAILS AS MENTIONED ABOVE ON ARRIVAL CAN

THE EMAIL CONFIRMATION OF THAT RESULT IS SUFFICIENT FOR PROOF OF THE RT-PCR TEST
