India to Singapore via Serbia – Singapore has done quite an awesome work in keeping Covid waves away from its people. Where all the neighbouring countries were affected, Singapore showed the world that it is simply perfect in implementing policies. Singapore since the inception of Covid has kept necessary restrictions on the people coming from most affected countries.

People from India are not allowed to fly direct to Singapore. Only a few categories of people are allowed to be in, even if one is flying from indirect routes after doing the necessary quarantine.

Who can enter Singapore in the Ban Situation ?

All travellers entering Singapore must comply with Singapore’s public health and immigration requirements as specified by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority on its website at safetravel.ica.gov.sg.

Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents

The Singapore border remains open to all Singapore citizens and permanent residents. Permanent residents must present avalid re-entry permitduring check-in to enter Singapore. All other travellers who wish to enter Singapore must obtain prior approval from relevant authorities.
Long-Term Pass / In-Principle Approval Holders
Long-Term Pass and In-Principle Approval (IPA) holders must obtain permission for entry from the relevant agencies before they travel to Singapore.

  • Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) holders, including those with in-principle approval (IPA), must seek approval from theImmigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
  • Student’s Pass (STP) and IPA for STP (issued by ICA): Ministry of Education’s permission must be obtained by submitting the application to the respective educational institutions.
  • Work Pass holders, including dependents and those with in-principle approval (IPA), must seek approval from theMinistry of Manpower.

What are the restrictions to enter Singapore if someone is travelling from India?

All Long-Term Pass holders, IPA holders, and short-term visitors with travel history to Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka within the last 21 days will not be allowed to enter Singapore. This also applies to those who had obtained prior approval for entry into Singapore.

How many nights I will have to spend outside India to enter Singapore ?

One will have to spend at least 21 days outside India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka to enter Singapore if haveing a Valid Visa 🙂

Yes, as of 10th August 2021, one can stay in Serbia for 21 days to enter Singapore if having a valid entry permit, Visa’s and approval.

Though it depends on availability and category one would be choosing, however, if someone wants to save on money then they can easily get it under 1000.

Is there any quarantine rule for Indians in Serbia?

Though, before 11 July 2021, there was no quarantine rule but when Serbian officials saw a huge crowd using Serbia as layovers for their destinations, they decided to impose a 7 Days quarantine rule. But again with effect on 28th August, the quarantine rule has been lifted.

What is the RTPCR test policy to Enter Sinagapore ?

Travellers entering or transiting through Singapore, including Singapore citizens and permanent residents, are required to take a pre-departure Covid-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test within 72 hours before the scheduled departure date of their flight. Those entering Singapore with a travel history to Indonesia within the last 21 days prior to departure for Singapore will be required to present a valid negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 48 hours before the date of departure for Singapore.
