The following categories will be subject to hotel quarantine for two days:
- People aged 12 years and above who are fully vaccinated.
- Children aged 11 years and below (non-vaccinated) accompanied by one or both of their parents/family members who are fully vaccinated.
Test policy
Before arrival:
- Undergo a PCR test with a negative result 72 hours before arrival in Qatar.
After arrival:
- Have a PCR test at the quarantine hotel.
- Serology Antibody test at the quarantine hotel for vaccinated persons outside Qatar with one of the vaccines approved by the Ministry of Public Health.

Indian Nationals: A free tourist visa upon arrival for a period of (30) days, which can be extended for a similar period.
Conditions:
•Valid passport for at least six months.
•Confirmed return ticket.
•Confirmed hotel reservation in one of the country’s hotels during the visit period.
•Fully vaccinated with vaccines approved by the Ministry of Public Health, and completing a period of 14 days after the last dose.
•Must have a certificate confirming negative PCR test completed during the 48 hours from the time of arrival.
•Electronic registration on the Ehterazplatform (WWW.EHTERAZ.GOV.QA) to obtain the approval of the Ministry of Public Health before travelling.
•Passengers who have not received both doses of the vaccine 14 days prior to arrival will NOT be allowed to enter.
Similarly, citizens and residents of Qatar and GCC residents who are fully vaccinated or are immune following recovery from infection in the last 12 months and returning from countries including those on the yellow and red list can also return without the need to quarantine.

I am planning to book flight ticket from Qatar to Canada via Paris (5 hours layover) through Air Canada website. It says that we need to change terminal at Paris airport as Qatar airways operates from terminal 2E and Air Canada operates from terminal 2A. My daughter wants to travel form Hyderabad to Toronto via Doha.. She is fully vaccinated(COVISHIELD). How many hours layover she has to do in Doha, will you arrange for RT-PCR test at Doha and if RT-PCR is negative, does she have to do 10 days quarantine in Canada. Are there direct flights between HYD-DOH and DOH-Toronto.
You will have to have the following:-
Vaccination certificate with QR code and passport number recording 2 doses of Covishield with second dose completed at least 14 days prior to travel
Negative PCR for Covid from ICMR approved lab from sample collected not more than 72 hours prior to arrival at Qatar. Make sure the name on the certificate is same as on passport
Passport with at least 6 months validity
Hotel booking for 10 days quarantine (red list countries) booked through Discover Qatar. The quarantine package includes 3 meals per day and airport transfers.
All the above documents need to be uploaded on ehteraz website while applying for electronic travel authorization which should be done not less than 12 and not more than 72 hours prior to departure. You will get authorization within 12 hours. (I got it almost immediately.)
You need to travel with all of these documents and others including travel insurance as well as sufficient currency and an onward or return ticket in order to get visa on arrival in Qatar. If onward ticket you must have a visa for the final destination. You must quarantine for 10 days at the hotel before onward travel.
PCR will be done at your own cost on day 1 and day 9. You also need to buy a Qatar sim at the airport and download the ehteraz app for tracking.
