In a bid to bolster air connectivity in Madhya Pradesh, direct flights from Delhi to Jabalpur and Mumbai to Jabalpur are set to recommence next month. The operation of these flights, connecting Jabalpur to major metropolitan hubs, will be facilitated by SpiceJet.
Commencing from March 1st, 2024, the direct flight service between Delhi and Jabalpur will operate twice a week, providing residents with convenient access to the national capital. Additionally, the flight service linking Mumbai and Jabalpur will commence from March 2nd, 2024, further enhancing connectivity options for travelers.

Union Minister of Civil Aviation and Steel, Shri Jyotiraditya M Scindia, expressed his enthusiasm regarding this development, stating, “I am delighted that with the support of SpiceJet, Jabalpur will get additional connectivity to Mumbai and Delhi.” He emphasized that besides facilitating seamless travel experiences for Jabalpur residents, these flights will contribute to bolstering trade, commerce, and employment opportunities in the region.
Moreover, Shri Scindia highlighted the ongoing development efforts at Jabalpur Airport, including the construction of a new Terminal Building at a cost of Rs. 412 crore. This infrastructure upgrade is expected to inject new vitality into both travel and economic growth in the area.
